WritingGenevieve specialises in writing easy to recreate recipes out of simple ingredients for home cooks. Her background of 16 years in hospitality working as a chef have given her the strong technical background of classical training combined with the experience of working for some of Auckland’s most innovative chefs. 2005 saw the release of her first cookbook Basic But Brilliant published by Penguin as well as contributing to Cuisine Magazine as a food writer. She writes a regular column for The Parnell Darling and look forward to seeing her join the ranks of Foodtown Magazine as a food writer and stylist in 2007. Genevieve writes a regular e-newsletter from which you can learn how to create innovative and simple new recipes from ingredients and cooking methods you are already familiar with.
