Pea & Ham Risoni

Ingredients

  • 1 cup risoni or orzo
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 300g unsliced ham, cut into 1cm cubes
  • 425g jar Urban Appetite White Wine & Lemon Sauté Sauce
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup broad beans, thawed and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • extra shaved parmesan

Instructions

Cook the risoni in plenty of simmering water for 8-10 minutes until el dente. When cooked, drain into a colander. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a heavy-based, deep-sided frying pan. Fry the ham on all sides until browned.

Add the Urban Appetite White Wine & Lemon Sauté Sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the peas, broad beans and cooked risoni. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes while stirring until everything is heated through. Stir through the grated parmesan then distribute between 4 warm serving bowls. Top with extra shaved parmesan and serve immediately.
