Chocolate Bobby Bananas

Recipe Created for Dole

Ingredients

  • 250g dark or milk chocolate
  • canola or rice bran oil
  • 12 Dole Bobby Bananas, peeled
  • 24 ice cream sticks
  • sprinkles like coconut, chocolate rain, hundreds and thousands etc

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with non-stick paper.
  2. Melt chocolate over a pot of water or in the microwave. Add a little oil to thin chocolate enough for dipping.
  3. Slice bananas in half through width. Skewer onto the sticks.
  4. Dip into chocolate, coating thoroughly. Tap off excess chocolate and place on tray. 5/ Dust with your favourite sprinkle toppings. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight if possible.
