About GenevieveGenevieve Knights (nee McGough) has enjoyed over 20 years experience in the food industry as a chef, food writer, food stylist, recipe developer, television presenter and food photographer. After working as top chef in Auckland restaurants for many years, she decided on a change of direction and began developing, writing and photographing recipes. Her writing style is largely influenced by the solid technical background of classical training combined with the experience of working for some of Auckland's most innovative chefs. Genevieve is working on a series of baking cookbooks. All have 50 original recipes, tips and tricks, a history section and conversion chart. The first book was titled scones, with the second book, pavlova was the first ever pavlova-only recipe cookbook in the world.
