About Genevieve

Genevieve Knights (nee McGough) has over 20 years experience in the food industry as a chef, food writer, food stylist, recipe developer, television presenter and food photographer.

After working as top chef in Auckland restaurants for many years, she decided on a change of direction and began developing, writing and photographing recipes.

Her writing style is largely influenced by the solid technical background of classical training combined with the experience of working for some of Auckland's most innovative chefs.

In 2010, Genevieve will release a series of baking cookbooks under the White Knights Publishing banner, a new venture with husband Wayne. The first book in the series is titled scones, due for release in April and followed by pavlova in November.

She also runs a business providing high quality gourmet hampers called Champers Hampers.
